🎃 Trailer-or-Treat Decorating Contest Rules 🎃

Get ready to show off your spook-tacular creativity! Whether it’s creepy, kooky, spooky, or sweet – decorate your trailer and join the fun! All participants must follow the rules below to enter the contest. Trailers may be brought down and set-up anytime after 12pm on the day of the event and they must be finished by 2pm. Trailer must be removed no later than 9pm on the same day.

👻 Eligibility

• Open to anyone with a trailer that fits the criteria below.

• One entry per trailer.

🚛 Trailer Requirements

• Trailers must be 40 feet or less in length.

• Acceptable types include:

  • Horse trailers

  • Stock trailers

  • Small livestock trailers

  • Flatbed trailers

  • Any other trailer under 40’ in length and 8’ in width

All trailers must be in safe, working condition and parked in designated areas.

🍬 Candy Requirement

• Each contestant must bring store-bought, sealed candy or snacks to hand out to trick-or-treaters.

  • No homemade treats allowed.

  • Candy must be appropriate for all ages.

🎨 Decorating Guidelines

• Decorations can be fun, spooky, silly, or themed – get creative!

• Trailers must be decorated prior to the start of the event.

• Keep it family-friendly – no excessively gory or inappropriate themes.

• Electricity may be limited – please plan accordingly.

🏆 Judging & Prizes

• Trailers will be judged on:

  • Creativity & originality

  • Overall theme

  • Effort & attention to detail

  • Kid-friendliness

• Winners will be announced by the end of the event.

🕒 Arrival & Setup

• Participants must arrive and be fully set up by 2pm.

• Late arrivals may not be eligible for judging.

🧹 Clean-Up

• Please clean up your area at the end of the event.

• Leave no trash or leftover decorations behind.
