π Trailer-or-Treat Decorating Contest Rules π
Get ready to show off your spook-tacular creativity! Whether itβs creepy, kooky, spooky, or sweet β decorate your trailer and join the fun! All participants must follow the rules below to enter the contest. Trailers may be brought down and set-up anytime after 12pm on the day of the event and they must be finished by 2pm. Trailer must be removed no later than 9pm on the same day.
Open to anyone with a trailer that fits the criteria below.
One entry per trailer.
Trailers must be 40 feet or less in length.
Acceptable types include:
Horse trailers
Stock trailers
Small livestock trailers
Flatbed trailers
Any other trailer under 40β in length and 8β in width
All trailers must be in safe, working condition and parked in designated areas.
Each contestant must bring store-bought, sealed candy or snacks to hand out to trick-or-treaters.
No homemade treats allowed.
Candy must be appropriate for all ages.
Decorations can be fun, spooky, silly, or themed β get creative!
Trailers must be decorated prior to the start of the event.
Keep it family-friendly β no excessively gory or inappropriate themes.
Electricity may be limited β please plan accordingly.
Trailers will be judged on:
Creativity & originality
Overall theme
Effort & attention to detail
Kid-friendliness
Winners will be announced by the end of the event.
Participants must arrive and be fully set up by 2pm.
Late arrivals may not be eligible for judging.
Please clean up your area at the end of the event.
Leave no trash or leftover decorations behind.
