Want to learn how to rope cattle off of your horse but don’t know where to start? This workshop is for you. The perfect introductory workshop for you and your horse. You will be learning how to rope starting with a sled steerwhich is aropoing dummy that can be towed behind a four-wheeler in the arena to simulate roping live cattle. This is a great tool for new ropers. It is a low-stress, safer way to learn how to track cattle and handle your rope. A roping sled is a tool that allows you to take your time and have more control over your horse, which enables you to sharpen your rope handling skills.

**You need to know how to already coil, swing, and throw a rope before attending this workshop. If you do not, please attend our “Intro to Ranch Roping” workshop prior to attending this workshop**

Bring: 1. You 2. Your Horse 3. Your own rope & glove is you have them (if not we will have extras) 4. Saddle with a horn (does not need to be a roping saddle)

Learn how to swing your rope off your horse, position yourself, track the steer, aim, catch, and cow work horsemanship.
